I am close to finishing my current book.  There are just a few scenes left to write - three at the most. Two days' work maybe.

Then I begin the process of revising and editing.  Hopefully I will have several weeks to do this.

At the end of a book I always take my time.  Rushing to finish is not a good plan. One has to make sure that all the loose ends are ties up.

I don't want to reader to think as she closes the cover - "What ever happened to X?"

However, revision will highlight the flaws - hopefully!
